Description
The SL-D7 is part of Topcon's SL-D-series digital slit lamps. It can be used as a conventional examination instrument or as a digital slit lamp with the several imaging options.
Used as a conventional examination slit lamp, the SL-D7 slit lamp incorporates 6 filters: a blue filter, red-free filter, UV-cut, IR-cut, ND, and an amber filter. The amber filter improves the contrast and colour of retinal images.
Digital applications
Used as a digital slit lamp, the SL-D7 will be seamless integrated with:
- DC-3, an 8 megapixel camera
- DV-3, an 3,14 megapixel video camera
- SL SCAN-1, a slit lamp based OCT for posterior & anterior segment
Other options
The SL-D7 has many options such as a yellow filter, back ground illumination, diaphragm unit, Topcon Fundus Viewer, FV-1L and FD-21 Flash Device
FD-21 flash device and photo attachement
The FD-21 flash device and photo attachment enables the clinician to make superb photos of posterior and anterior segments in the eye. Excellent clarity, colour balance and depth of field enhance the examination. The FD-21 fits on SL-D7 and SL-D8Z and is combined with a Nikon SLR camera.
Meibography
The Topcon BG-4M Meibography attachment enables the clinician to view Meibomian glands with invasive techniques.
Diaphragm unit
The diaphragm unit enhances the focal depth in the lower magnifications of the complete anterior segment. Thus the clinician can diagnose faster and images have a better focus.
