Trial lens sets
Topcon Europe Medical distributes trial lens sets from the Italian manufacturer C.I.O.M. These lenses offer you a high quality in optics and use. C.I.O.M, an ISO9002 certified company offers you a wide range of lens sets. Topcon has taken a number of these sets in their product portfolio.
The selected material is a guarantee for a long life use. The lenses are made in Optical glass with a refractive index of 1.523. Spheres are 22 mm, Cylinder and prism respectively 22mm and 18mm. The Geometric centres coincide with the optical centre. Rims are made of Nylon 6 mm by 38 mm and are in two colours, red and green, indicating minus and plus range. Trays are made of beech wood and coated with varnish.

 Trial frames
TOPCON offers an all-metal Trial Frame that is durably constructed, yet lightweight. Its practical screw-thread design on all fittings allows for the easy replacement of springs and other components, so the frame can be easily serviced if necessary. In addition, the leaf spring-loaded temples hold the frame snugly yet comfortably on the patient.
TOPCON Trial Frame also offers the following features and adjustments for a perfect fit and accurate settings:
- Horizontal and vertical bridge adjustments.
- Free-rocking saddle bridge assures comfortable nose fit.
- Separate PD adjustment for each eye to compensate for
asymmetrical factors in facial structure.
- Individual adjustments for temple length and angle.
- Adjustment for rotating cylinders to correct axis.
- Scales with large, easy-to-read numerals.
- Spacing of lens holders insures accurate additive readings
when TOPCON Corrected Curve Additive Design lenses are
used in the frame.
